Keep Phoebe’s Pantry in South Woodham Ferrers

Absolutely shocking to see a small healthy business being removed from our riverside. We can all show our support and help to reverse this decision by signing and follow up with an appropriate email.

We need to keep phoebe at the river it’s a very necessary service much needed at the river

Phoebe's is a brilliant local resource, and will be sorely missed. Please review this decision that is driving them away.

Phoebe’s pantry is one of the best things in SWF. It is a shame that a corporate tender by ECC has such a negative impact on the local community and local small business.

I love regularly going on walks down to the river and so do many others. Who is benefiting from removing it from our town with already minimal activities to do. It brings people together!

Please let this lovely little business stay. It’s an asset to our town and community and would be sorely missed. These are hard working people who have built this business from scratch. You should be supporting them instead of getting rid of them!!

Utterly pointless decision from ECC, ruining a successful and popular business that I doubt the seat polishers at the County Council even know.

This is awful news. Phoebe's has brought life to our riverside, the footfall has increased greatly. So many people discovered our river for the first time. They offer seating and refreshments at a beautiful spot and have worked so hard to get this business off the ground. Why would you take it away from them? They did what no one had done before. It will be so sad to lose this great service.

I visit South Woodham Ferrers quite a few times in the year and enjoy tea and cake at Phoebes Pantry. It will be sadly missed. Please let it stay there.

As a family of 4 we often love riding our bikes down to the river and stopping off at Phoebe’s Pantry for drink/cake/ice cream, it’s a lovely family spot

This small business is a huge part of our town providing a very popular and loved service at our river. Essex County Council should be supporting enterprise not making it unfeasible for them to continue. This news has caused huge upset in this town because of such an unnecessary decision.

This would be such a loss to our community. There isn’t anything else on this side of the river, brings people and families together. This little business is an asset, why do away with it? For whose benefit?

Phoebe’s have developed a popular and successful business from the corner of a car park, they should be allowed to continue.
