After another happy and satisfied visit to Phoebes Pantry this morning,I feel very sad for everyone involved ; us as customers and ‘ The Pantry Family’ who have worked so very hard to provide a much needed service to the river lovers of South Woodham Ferrers and beyond......

Please revise tender to enable small local businesses to apply. The community DO NOT want large, impersonal firms to deliver this much appreciated service

Phoebe's is an important part of our community and deserves to be treated as such. We are slowly being stripped of our local small businesses because town councils and councillors are all to willing to allow pockets to be lined. This is an absolute disgrace.

Phoebes provides a first class popular service to South Woodham residents. Why ECC wish to increase the site costs for this small business is beyond me. The councillor concerned needs to take a hard look at himself as this does nothing to benefit the community we live with in.

How disgraceful of the local authority. We pay enough council tax etc so why make this impossible for them to make money? I thought it was a good idea that someone does this for our community. Shame on the council.
