Phoebes Pantry is amazing. A small business that needs to stay open. Don't take a business away from another small business owner.

Local resident who is appalled by the apparent disrespect shown be ECC to Phoebe and her business. For the record have any individuals within ECC making these decisions ever had the conviction and courage to operate their own business?

Just what the community needs on the river. Why ECC would want to take that away from the town does not make any sense.

Swf would be lost without Phoebes pantry by the river. The small business brings so much to the community.

This has been a fantastic addition to our beautiful riverside. Why would you attempt to close the site? I lockdown this was a lifeline for many vulnerable, lonely people too

Phoebes has done so much for the happiness of our local community, especially during lockdown…she is a very honest and lovely woman trying to earn a honest living. Please don’t take this wonderful business away from our town and community.

We need to keep this fantastic little business open. They've done so well, very friendly and helpful and to close them down is a disgrace.

Phoebie has worked hard to build this business and is very popular with all the locals and many visitors. Shame on the council to treat them so badly.

How crazy that a well respected small business are being forced out, I can't believe that a small unkempt car park that Phoebe's van makes all the more attractive, could possibly warrant such a huge rent?

Such a great location and very useful to get a drink & cake. Used it many times and want to continue to use the facilities. Typically ECC should concentrate on getting every else working well before penalizing a small local business that had worked extremely hard to establish itself. No doubt ECC will have someone else lined up to replace the current provider no doubt a distant relative of a Councillor perhaps. The local area and residents are happy with the current status so not sure why ECC seems intent on making us local residents suffer by removing such a valuable service.

This is an important business providing a valuable and affordable place for many members of our community to meet and enjoy our Riverside. Don't understand the impact this business has on the users wellbeing.

Phoebe’s Pantry is a welcome and much needed addition to the Woodham community. A great loss if this goes ahead.

So sad to hear what the council are doing to this lovely little business! Support and encouragement should be given to youngsters working hard and being brave enough to start up their own business they should not be walked over and taken advantage of!! We shall support you all the way Phoebe and Sally.

This is such an asset to the town and brings many people to the river. Very short sighted of ECC and very greedy of them.
