The school board reversed the decision and he will not be returning to campus. I am tired beyond words but knowing our halls are secure makes it all worth the long struggle. We need to stay watchful but for now we have finally achieved the safety we fought for.
Recently, a student from Pembroke Academy was expelled for planning to "shoot up" the Class of 2016 graduation. His sentence was changed and is now only suspended. He is able to come back to school and I feel this is not right. He is an unstable kid and I don't think it's safe to have him back at our school. Please sign this petition to help make Pembroke academy a safe school.
The exhaustion is setting in but I refuse to stop while our safety remains at risk. We are nearly at one hundred signatures so please send this link to your contacts right now to help us clear that threshold. We need this momentum to force them to listen.

The school has suspended people for longer for selling marijuana. This is an absolute outrage. Keep Pembroke Academy safe. Do the logical thing and tell the student that if he wanted to participate in a public school, he shouldn't have threatened to kill its students

My best friend goes to this school, and from what I have read, I would rather not take a chance with this. This girl has been like a sister to me since we were 3 years old. I don't want to have to go to her funeral for another 80+ years

This is absolutely ridiculous and I do not feel safe sending my son to school knowing there is a person making these kind of threats against other students...remove this student and do not allow them back at school would be them best thing to do...keep pa and our kids safe...

joking or not, it doesn't matter. it's honestly scary to be sophomore in high school and go into major lock down. It's honestly scary that I should have to worry about that everyday going to school. help keep PA safe

This is too serious for a mere suspension. More should be done and Pembroke Academy needs to realize that they cannot gamble with the safety of their students by allowing this individual to return to school.

This ignorant I wasn't the best kid when I went there. I did something completely irrelevant and a lot less worst then this and I was expelled. Safety FIRST!!! And that kid needs further mental help out of school .
