She is so good with kids and is very approachable. Would hate to see her go. I drive a distance just for my little one to see her in class.

Miss Jaime is an asset to the children's library. She brings in patrons through the activities she plans. She educates patrons on the many resources available, as well.

Not sure of the circumstances, but I know their is not anyone else more fit for this job. I was just telling the mayor, in the library parking lot, how much we love Jaime and all that she has done to make my family feel so welcome. From the tot times down to always stopping to chat at HEB, she gives her all to love on children in Pearland.

Ms. Jamie was made for this job! She brings such joy to the kids, and in turn you can tell the kids bring joy to her. It would be a great tragedy to see her replaced. Please reconsider!

Jamie is a very loving, genuine person for as long as I have known her. She has always been a very dedicated worker but more importantly, she has always been a kind soul. She loves this job and was very happy being able to work with children so I am saddened to hear what happened and to see a petition has been started to let her keep a job she clearly loves. I sincerelt hope more people step forward and speak up for her because she deserves the same support and love that she gives out so generously.

I have brought speech therapy clients to Ms. Jamie's story time. She is truly made for this job. She knows how to engage children of all developmental levels. It is very obvious that she LOVES working with kids. She is very natural and kind with children and their parents. I specifically bring clients who are uncomfortable with group settings to her class to help them learn to engage at their own pace. She makes them feel welcome and safe there. She is also very knowledgeable and helpful when I look for books for therapy every week. When I am in her department looking for books for my own children, she is very generous with her time. Ms. Jamie is a GEM, and our children's library would be a bleak place without her.

Jamie is fantastic at connecting with patrons of all ages, at connecting with entire families and at connecting patrons to each other. She is always looking for ways to help the Pearland community and is invested in not just her job, but her community. I have watched her go above and beyond expectations as the library has weathered staffing changes in the Children's department. She worked full-time hours, filling in when the last Children's Librarian took another job, when she was only a part-time employee. Jamie always makes time for her patrons and everyone speaks highly of her. She has even gone back to school to become a better librarian. It would be a great loss to the Pearland community if we lost Jamie. We live significantly closer to the Westside branch and we choose to drive to this library branch because of us community Jamie has built.
