Just because you just made new condos there, after live music was there, is no reason to get rid of it

Surely a compromise could be reached. work on that and allow these bars to play music as they have been all along.

Forcing a night life area to cut music so early is ridiculous.

Austin City Council, please overturn this. Austin is know as the Live Music Capitol of the world! The Patio is a Rainey St. common thread! please do ruin a good thing! The eclectic for me on Rainey is enjoying the the Patio's with a wonderful drink, food, and good music in the background. People who decide to move to Rainey St. have to know the type of neighborhood they are moving into.

Music venues need a little slack, folks. White noise machines exist for a reason, and research your damn neighborhood.

Im a 6th generation Austinite. Born and bred with music and the Austin culture in my blood. This has been a ridiculous struggle in the downtown music scene for a while, not just Rainey. Music and the nightlife that it brings with it is a big part of what Austin is, and always has been. (Most of the time), I find that the people who complain are the same people who moved into the "newest" condo right in the heart of the "Live Music Capitol". What did they think was going to happen, when they decided to move in next door to a (already established) music venue?
