Walmart has been important to the community since long before I was even born, and I’m knocking on 40 now. How could you do away with it? Drop the agenda and start caring about people.

I remember seeing Sam Walton visiting/shopping in this store when I was a child and I worked here through high school. This store has been a centerpiece of our town for a generation. The employees are our family and friends. The managers support our community. This store is the essence of Sam's vision for a community store that grew from his 5 & dime shops. The location of our store makes it essential to southern Delaware county as well as eastern Mayes county and Northeastern most Arkansas and Southeastern most Missouri...close to 3 lakes, and 2 rivers, open year around to recreation and sport. In addition, the poverty level in this area makes your low prices vital for our working families and elderly. As an educator in this community I am concerned as to the nutrition and basic clothing shortfall my students will experience. Closing this store is a disservice to our community, your employees and Sam Walton's legacy.

I do a lot of shopping here, it's easy, convenient for folks nearby. There is a lot of elderly people in the area that has scooters they go shopping in this Walmart. If you close it this is be hard on the elderly people some of them don't have a vehicle.

This town needs a Wal-Mart. Some have no transportation to go to the bigger towns. Elderly don't like the bigger walmart. The pharmacy is closer and cheaper for the ones on fixed income

Jay needs Walmart more than ever since we are in a pandemic!!! I feel for all the employees who have been working there for years and now they have to start over. There are so many elderly people who walk to Walmart to pick up their medicine and get groceries. It’s said that Store 327 is closing after all these years!!! Prayers for the employees who are loosing their jobs and for our town who is loosing another business during this pandemic!!!

being raised in Jay and living bot far from there now this store #327 has been a very essential part of Jay OK and the lil communities that surround it. Its not a rich community and believe going to this walmart is still a treat for most people. Closing this store will devastate and greatly impact these community on a very negative level. Please reconsider and honor your founders wishes.
