Save our children and do the right thing by taking some control and accountability of this serious situation. We've already had neighborhood animals killed. We certainly don't want this to escalate.

Potomac Trail Circle and Julia St are two other speedways in the community - the slope of Julia going down is very dangerous for speeding vehicles and the turn into Potomac Trail by drivers with speeding vehicles is crazy. We need to protect our community and its children. I have 2 boys and I am always concerned when they are going to or coming back from school.

We live facing Sugarview Sugarview is often used as a speedway at all hours. Also stop signs turning onto Sugarview from Rosalind are often ignored. Perhaps making the intersection at Rosalind and Sugarview a 4-way stop would help slow cars down. With the new tot lot in place, it is especially scary how fast the cars move through the area.

Do we need to wait for a horrific event before common sense changes are made? Children are in danger every day because of dozens of speeding vehicles on residential streets. Speed bumps are needed to deter construction vehicles and other drivers from making poor decisions.

Julia Street and the roundabout is an accident waiting to happen. Kids cross over for community center .... cars from Van Metre community - delivery trucks speed through at over 50 mph..... We live on the corner of Julia street and see it happen so frequently that we are scared of these cars losing control trying to avoid an accident and ramming into one of the houses that border Julia....

Signed. From my perspective and personal observations the largest group of speeders are the residents themselves. -Len

I concur... something must be done about the speeding problem on our streets. Take back your neighborhood!

This is one of those times where a community can come together and prevent a tragedy, or by lack of action, ensure one happens. It's not a question of if it will happen, it's a matter of WHEN and to which family. Take action and help make our community safer for our children.
I hope this will help to slow people down.
