so about a week ago, my child was suppose to be in her reading group, since she forgot her books she was sent back to her class... except she didn't make it back to her class she decided to tour around the school for 40 minutes, a lot can happen in 40 minutes.

My husband and I had a serious talk with her about the safety of going back to class when told, but she is 6 ! there is a reason why us parents don't leave out kids home alone when they are young.... because they make bad choices!

so I went down to the school to speak with the principle I noticed there are no camerasat the main doors and the office can not see whois coming and going, well my heart dropped, knowing what could of happened to my child or others !kids can justwalk right out of the school with no one even noticing, not to mention if someonewith bad intentions wanted in all they need to do is go left and no one can see them.

I am proposing thatthe school get cameras for the main doors and boot room.for the safety of our children, school staff and our peace of mind knowing that our children wontwonder off out of the school.
