The Planning Committee has finalized a proposed recommendation that would move many of our children from Harnett Central Middle School to Western Harnett Middle School. Areas impacted areas include Manor Hills, Tirzah Village, South River Rd, Jim Christian Rd, Cattle Ln, and Rodeo Ln. in Lillington.
This is being presented on Monday, March 3, 2014 and then later a public hearing will be held to address concerns from the community. Several other communities in Angier and Buies Creek were successful in having their area remain in HCMS territory (they were slated to be moved to Coats/Erwin Middle)
Please join me in asking that SEGMENT 274N remain in Harnett Central Middle territory.
