Too take away the sisters is like taking away the soul of the school. They have been here since the beginning and should stay.

I read the letter from Sister Bernadette announcing the withdrawal of the Sisters with heavy heart. The school and the church will be diminished by their absence. I am deeply troubled by the lack of a clear explanation as to WHY the Sisters are leaving. Frankly, I have heard that the decision did not come from the Sisters or their Order. I believe the parents deserve to included in decisions that will directly impact our children.

Having the sisters at St. Rose is very important for the spiritual and religious education of our children. My grandchildren attend St. Rose because the sisters are there as a living example of our Catholic Faith. It would not be the same without the sisters.

The sisters at St. Rose are an integral part of our community. They are a living example of faith, humility, and service to our children. They also provide the parish with invaluable assistance through various ministries. As a whole, the community of Miami Shores is enriched by their service and their presence. For our school, they are the cornerstone of Catholic education. They are invaluable to us. It is disheartening that the parents have not had a voice in a decision as impactful as removing the Sisters from our school and community.

The sisters impacted my faith in a big way. Without them I wouldn't be a CCD teacher for year 7. God speaks to them portly in every day ways and they reach out to us the community around them. Because they reach out, God's bigger work gets done! If you don't think so, ask the 13 children's at my CCD class for year 7 at St Rose if the ministry has touched them and how? It's all because of the sisters! If you remove them, you remove 30 years or deep growth and outreach in our community. Please don't!

i love the sisters without them the school will feel empty. Sister Bernadette is the greatest principal I have ever encounter, so loving and so caring she makes me feel that my child is protected at school. I am NOT happy about them leaving.

St. Rose is special to me for many reasons, but a huge reason is the presence of the wonderful IHM Sisters. They were my teachers growing up and then my colleagues when I taught there.
