I and my two sisters are graduates of St. Rose, my daughter, nephew and nieces are graduates of St. Rose and now my granddaughter (next year two granddaughters) attend St. Rose. The presence of the sisters and their role in our Catholic education has been a cornerstone of who we have grown up to be. I hope and trust that this decision can be reversed and corrected.

Please reconsider keeping the sisters in St Rose of Lima. I don't think the school would be the same without them. Sr Bernadette is my hero! She is the hardest working person I know. She loves the kids and the school with all her heart. How horrible to separate her at this time.

A great disservice is happening at St. Rose. The sisters bring us all together. I have raised 3 children there and the presence of the nuns was a very huge part in our decision to send our children there and keep them there because of the kind and caring atmosphere that was provided by the sisters! Shame for suggesting they should be replaced! There is NO replacement for our sisters!

As an alumni, I am very thankful for my education at St. Rose of Lima. The sisters were an important part of my upbringing and education. You would be doing a disservice to take that element out of St. Rose.

My three grandchildren are students at St. Rose of Lima. The sisters are shining examples of Christ's love for the church. Our children need their presence in everyday life during the school year to set before them the example of unselfish love and dedication. they are an integral part of the students lives and I'm having a problem understanding why the Archdiocese of Miami is even considering taking them from pur school.

Without the "spirit" of the Sisters the building will be just that - a building. Let them continue to bring the "spirit" to St. Rose and continue to touch the lives of our families.

I fully support retaining the IHM sisters at St. Rose. However no rational has been provided as to why the IHM presence is in question. Perhaps if we had a rational for why their presence is in question we could better speak to the situation.
In support our son attended St.Rose for 10 years (Pre-K through 8) 1996-2006.
The sisters modeling of Catholic values supported our own Catholic beliefs. Our son received a firm Christian foundation of faith and learning from the sisters that has served him well now into his professional career. The raising of Catholic children in this day takes a village and the IHM sisters are truly part of that village.
Keep the IHM sisters!
