Please keep the co-op open. We need a food shop in the CENTER of Acle too.

This store is always very busy. It's on the main street so picks up lots of passing trade as well as having a very large number of local loyal customers a great many of whom are very elderly, living close to the store.

This store should remain open for all the people in Acle without cars who cannot walk as far as the new store location.

It will be a huge loss to this end of the village, it is a life line to so many.

Definitely need to try having both shops, it's a large village and it's not only the elderly who may not be able to walk as far to the new bigger location, which will have shorter opening hours, always relied on the co-op from my end of the village & would hate to see it lost

The village co-op store is a great facility serving the needs of people who live in Acle as well as visitors to the Broads - please consider keeping it open alongside the 'out of town' former Budgens store.

Definitely would like the co-op on the green to stay. So many people will find it difficult to walk to the new shop. Also holiday boat people who walk into Acle for shopping will not be impressed.

Acle is a village. A village is a community, a society. In the main, the community of a Acle want to remain a society. Not a segregated urban nothingness where people are lonely and struggle to stay sane. Believe me. I know it's so. I lift in Belton!

I think it would be wrong to shut the coop near the green as it is invaluable for lots of people especially the elderly who will find it very difficult to walk the exta distance to the new site . The original coop is always busy and gets a lot of passing trade from Parents with their children on the way to or back from the school , also holiday makers who walk up from the river . Please keep both shops open and tradibg together , also the coop now can stay open longer because of the size of shop especially on the Sunday. Thankyou .

Two stores would be great and I think there would be enough customers to keep both stores running. I never use budgens, it maybe a very good store but it's the location of the coop that has encouraged me shop there for years.

Even if they reduce the size of the existing store and just sell the basics it would be a big help to people furthest away from the new store.

I think its will be great having the a larger co-op but will miss the convenience of being able to walk to the store. The budgens site is too far to walk with shopping and I don't want to raise my carbon footprint and have to drive. If I'm going to get the car out I'll go to a supermarket instead :(

I think there should be a trial of running both shops in parallel as suggested. It's a shame to have no 'village shop' at the heart of the village and will alter the character of the green detrimentally.

There is definitely a need for a food store both ends of the village. Acle is very widespread and houses a substantial amount of elderly residents who rely on village living to survive.

Funeral Directory right next to an old peoples home... have they not realised how bad that looks?!
