Keep our children safe outside of school

Very dangerous the way people park outside the school without a care. I often stuggle to see whats coming when trying to cross with my children.

Bad parking will cause an accident. Traffic wardens, video cameras, fencing etc should be considered.

It's such a dangerous road..an accident waiting to happen.

Something needs to be done before a child gets killed

My husband Cllr Brian Blakeley has fought this nightmare since 2004. He got funding for safety measures in and outside the school, but this is not working due to some inconsiderate parents that will park there cars on the white zigzag lines of the zebra crossing, on the pavements and put other parents children at risk of injury or even death.

Picking Grandchildren up from School over recent years ,I see this petition as very much needed.

it is incredibly shocking how these people park at the moment down outside that particular school I can't believe any parent would be so absolutely belligerent and willing to put people's lives at risk purely so they can pick up their own children what makes it worse would actually put their own child or children at risk..

Best thing is that a vast majority are too bone idle to walk 100yds up the road instead of driving and the parking needs a traffic warden before and after school

Something needs to be done before someone gets hurt it’s a ridiculous road

This road keeps getting worse and things need to change for the safety of not only the children but everyone who uses the road whether it is to get to school, work or just a walk/drive. People have become very inconsiderate and it is not worth the life of another human being for the sake of a 5 minute walk.

Something needs to be donemandnquickly. Drastic measures before a tragedy ensues.
