The below signed are requesting the Lee County Schools have the Transportation providers pick up and drop off students residing within Portico at the Portico amenity center.
This creates a safer transportation situation for the students boarding the busses, eliminates traffic congestion coming into and out of Portico during pick up/drop off and creates better traffic flow on Buckingham Road.

im still waiting to hear back from the district office but i wont stop pestering them until they actually look at our proposal. thank you for keeping this going because it really helps to have all of you backing this change.

im honestly blown away by how much traction this has picked up lately. seeing so many people in the neighborhood get behind this really shows just how important it is to keep our kids safe while they get to school.

I support the change to the bus stop location. There is no reason this should not be approved
This request makes sense. There is no good reason why it should not be approved.
PLEASE fix this. its just a matter of time before someone gets hurt out there.
Moving bus stop to amenity center would be safer for children as well as those exiting and entering Portico.
There will be approximately 1,100 homes in Portico with one entrance/exit. It’s imperative the bus stop be moved off of Buckingham/Portico Blvd. for the safety of the children.
