I walk my kids to school also and I see that around the circles 20% of drivers stop 80% they don't bother to stop even if they see you that you are crossing the road. Mostly of them they drive around because they think they have the right but the pedestrian has the right of way. I am a mother and I want my kids to cross the roads safely thank you!

I do not live in Aurora but this really is a safety issue all over the region. CHILDRENS safety is utmost important in every town. Town needs to do their jobs and do it right.

There has been a death thay occured many years ago at the school due to the school buses loading in front of the school. But they fixed that with the back parking and bus loading station. But i grew up on kitimat and this was over ten years ago but i can remember many times people almost hit me or my friends because they never paid attention! I think an all way stop infront of the school at tecumseh and kitimat would be highly beneficial!!!

Safety is always first. Anywhere near a school should be a safety zone and have appropriate stop signs and speed limits and definitely a crossing guard for our little ones.

Aurora heights needs a cross walk and the Tim Hortons at yonge and golf links needs a no left turns or no left coming in sign.

This was approved and was going ahead in the spring. This is ridiculous that a neighbor complains about it when his kids no longer attend this school because they are both in high school. Are you going to wait for a child to get seriously hurt or worse killed because let me tell you parent drivers in the morning and after school are absolutely crazy unthinking drivers. Get a proper safe crossing in there as approved. Thank you

Just to let everyone know this was approved and in the works. Until a neighbor on Kitimat decided to FIGHT it. He didn't think the residence wanted ANOTHER stop. Really SAFETY first.
