I do not want Doon Public School to be a 4-6 school. We talk so much about transitions for our kids...this would be yet another one. Leave the 7-8's alone it will upset and cause yet another transition for them and 4-5's! its ridiculous! Add more portables to Bridadoon...they have the space. figure it out so our kids aren't transitioning yet again due to the inefficiency of planning...on the part of adults not doing there jobs!s

These children need consistency and you are creating unnecesary change in their lives. Not to mention the issues you create by separing families between two schools.

I am not in favour of this move. It's too young to for them to start middle school.

These children are too young for integration into middle school.

Keep our children at J.W. Gerth! Grade 4&5 are too young to be exposed to a middle school.

I do not wish JW Gerth to end at grade four. I am petitioning against Doon Public School to start at grade 5.

I hope and pray that the idea to move grades 5 and 6 to the middle school will be scrapped. There are too many reasons that makes this idea a really bad one. I don't want my child in a middle school environment before he is actually in grade 7.

I went to school in the states where middle school is grades 6,7,8. My son is in middle school here and went to MJ until grade 6. I feel he knows less about sex and drugs at this age then I did.
