Orsillo and Remy are the whole reason I've been watching games still the last 2 seasons. I turn off the games when Eck is on and the guy who covered for the week this summer couldn't hold a candle to Orsillo!

Orsillo and Remy are the voices of the Red Sox! They have such chemistry, provide humor that you do not get with other announcers, and still do their job as announcers, this duo is so very rare!! They are to the Red Sox as Johnny Most was to the Celtics!!

NESN is making a huge mistake. The ratings are down because of the HIDEOUS PRODUCT ON THE FIELD, not Don Orsillo. Don is one of the very few reasons to even watch. This move is going to cost nesn big time.

Firing Orsillo is like blaming the pencil for a mispelled word. Ratings are down because of the product on the field. At least Orisllo makes the broadcast interesting irrespective of who his partner is in the broadcast booth. Find a damn number 1 hurler, dump the garbage (HR & Panda), and keep a person who is performing their job at a high level

I agree, I've never once watched a Sox game where I stopped watching because of DO. Barnum & Bailey couldn't keep people tuned in to watch this team! Sooo unfair.

Don't let Don Orsillo go! We moved to Texas years ago and we still watch NESN for our Red Sox coverage, mainly because of Orsillo and Remy.

After the past 2 seasons of being in last place it's Orsillo and Remy that are the reason that NESN has any Sox broadcast viewers left! They are the ones that are holding the viewership from completely going in the tank.
