Labelling that allows the consumer to know what he or she is getting should not be diluted

Hydroponics need their own certification and should have to pass through many hoops just like organic farmers. They must have to pass stringent water tests!

The living tri-fold system found in healthy soil cannot be replicated by reduction chemestry into liquid form so as to actualize the universal law of minimal surfaces. If you want empty pretty things that do not provide health and vitality then choose to eat this "lifeless life" but for my children, they will only eat from what is griwn from.our biodynamic compost.

Let Hydroponics get their own label. The water guys don't need to hijack the organic certification program. It just does not fit.

I think hydroponic growers have the right to create their own food labels, but not to change the present organic standards to suit their non-soil growing techniques.

Hydroponic is not bad but does not taste good. Farming organic improves the health of the soil, the microbes and invertebrates and consequently us. ,

We must have Organic mean just that. Please keep our soil pure.

Organic and hydroponic are two completely separate growing methods. They each deserve their own distinct label.

We need to produce food that nourishes us and improves our health, not food that causes cancer or food that is made synthetically.

It is not the USDA's job to help big companies make more money. It is their job to help consumers know what they are buying and eating.

Hydroponics are okay; however, I want to know that when I buy Organic that it has been grown in the soil. Hydroponics should have its own designation that is clear to me as a consumer.

Make a different certification for hydro. Organic is for soil and sustainable growing.

Organic farming is at it's base a soil based system, and it should remain that way.
