Tucsonans, if you haven't heard the devastating news yet, through the causes of covid-19, the famous Old Tucson is closing down- for good. This being one of Tucson's oldest attractions, filled with famous land marks and activities, our hearts are breaking for our childhood memories held here. Old Tucson is the mark of our original home. Please Sign this petition to place a pause, and possibly stop on this tragic closing. Please feel free to also send a donation to Old Tucson as well, anything helps. Lets be able to continue to see and show the true, original beauty of Tucson Arizona.

I have spent this week contacting local stakeholders to discuss potential alternatives for the preservation of these grounds. While official responses remain limited, the increasing support for this cause ensures that our message cannot be ignored by those in positions of authority.

Old Tucson is a legend. All of my out-of-state visitors look forward to it every time they come to Tucson. So many old classic westerns were filmed there and you can see it in the movies. Even Chopped filmed a couple of tournaments there! Please make sure it stays!!

This is where I took my now wife on our first official date. We went to Tucson for the weekend and I planed an entire day date and this was one of the highlights to the trip. Hoping this doesn’t get shut down for good as it is such a historical place.

I remember when Tucson was number 3 nationally in production of TV commercials. That and 330+ iconic movies means that it must remain open. Open it as a historical site or let the National Park System take it over. It is a national treasure.

Worked there in the 60s while I was in high school and my brother was general manager. Some of the best times of my life. The experiences and the people I met. Such a shame! I just lost my brother to cancer and now Old Tucson

My Daughter Marisa worked at Old Tucson for the last two years... She really blossomed under her boss Annette Johansson. We all hope and pray that there can be a solution and this Tucson Staple can stick around
