The following citizens are petitioning our elected representatives to help us find a solution to properly maintain the large pond in our neighborhood.

The pond is covered with algae and debris, which is unsightly and detrimental to our home values and the environment. See attached pictures for your reference.

We have discussed this problem with our Homeowners Association and they have told us that the county is responsible for the maintenance. They agreed to call the county. The county representative they spoke to claims there is nothing they can do. The Homeowners Association suggested we petition the county.
