I've had so many memories that are worth more than their weight in gold on this lake. I had great times, but with fun comes responsibilities. I want my children when I have them to enjoy the same liberties we have on the lake so they may have the same experiences and memories as I. So every time we go out there we pickup all our trash and even trash that doesn't belong to us so we can preserve this little slice of heaven that we call Fontana Lake. Humans and Nature have co-existed side by side here for decades, let us continue to do so.

Save the houseboats and the people who support the county and community. If the waters are polluted, clean it up instead of just closing down. We are all in this together! This is just another way to save our precious environment and the small
towns that are the backbone of our country!

We love going down to the lake to our families houseboats . Its a family tradition. It would be awful with out this. And fontana is one of the cleanest lakes around because of the people who love to enjoy it

We have had houseboats on the lake for 30 years,we are an asset to our lake and I am sure that the folks that are having to fight to keep their boats are an asset to their lake!

All of my favorite childhood memories are from being on our houseboats we've had through the years. I want my child to have the same experience! Away from all the noise of today's world. Keep the houses!

Spent many summers in the floating houses on Norris...Great experience..have no reason to visit that area other than the floating houses..there are many other lakes and rivers between my place and Norris
