Keep Non-navigable Houseboats and Floating Houses on TVA Reservoirs!

Keep them floating.

This is a big economic resource for our county. Keep the boathouses!!

Restrict or refuse any additional non-navigable structures, but allow those already on the lake to remain indefinitely.

This has been our home since before we were born!

Stop thinking about anything other than fixing the dam ASAP!!!!

Had one in the family for the last 37 years and have too many memories to count. it would be ashamed to see them go away we need to find away to keep them

I urge TV to give serious consideration to allowing non-navigible houseboats to remain on the lakes. We have invested money in the purchase and the upkeep required by TVA, and the decisions to utilize these dollars to do so were based upon the implied consent by TVA that all was well.

Keeping our waterways clean for future generations is the main objective, but there are alternative ways to do so without endangering public investment and local economic impacts.

We have a boat house out on Fontana, our kids love it out there! Keep them floating!

I grew up going to our Houseboat on Fontana. Our Houseboat (which has TVA numbers and was pre-approved prior to 1978) is compliant with all regulations aside from the new styrofoam update which we just found out about before our house floated out a day or so ago. I am strongly opposed to all of the unreasonable proposed changes that the TVA is trying to implement. If anything I think TVA should be required to clean up all of the trees that continuously fall into the lake causing major damage to boat owners who are out on the lake. If something is not done about the trees falling in the lake there will be a catastrophic event that will claim lives one of these days on Fontana. I truly hope that the TVA board will take a look at all of these things and seriously evaluate each option prior to making any major decisions.

Nothing wrong with the houseboats on tvs lakes . if tva wants them off the lake they should have to pay market price on each houseboat

This has been a tradition in this area for a very long time and maybe we shouldn't be able to build new site's but the ones that are there and the space should be able to remain forever.

Please these homes on the water. They are great for fun and makes our waterways unique.

There should be enforcement of the rules by TVA!! Don't punish us who have obeyed the rules by doing away with our summer recreation and relaxation. Penalize those who have blatantly disregarded your rules and built HUGE houses from little shacks.

The Sunset provision is unfair and unneeded. All Houseboat's with approval prior to 1978 should be grandfather in. Also proposed changes should be monitored for effectiveness prior to any additional action.

My children have grown up going to the lake and making memories aon our houseboat!I hope their children get to carry on the tradition

We have invested a lot of money for our family to have time to distress from life plus enjoy what God has made in these beautiful Tennessee mountains and lakes. I would not have invested my retirement money into this if I thought TVA could go back on a legal permit. We deserve to be able to use our houseboat til we die and pass to our children. Please petition for the right to continue enjoying our lakes. Unfortunate our houseboat is on dry land due to the repairs needed for Boone lake so if the TVA passes this proposal we would only have 13 remaining years.

We have had a floating house for 30 years. My children enjoyed the lake and now my grandchildren are enjoying the lake. We have a lot of money and time invested. It wouldn't be right to take that away.
