I went to here...and as it says on the walls of the public library "Brantford became my thinking place." It's truly a shame to see this campus close down. The Brantford campus is a fantastic program and I wish Nipissing North Bay stopped seeing the Brantford campus as the ugly step child. It's a fantastic program, with great students, super staff, and incredible professors.

It is unfair to the city of Brantford for Nipissing to leave on such short notice after the city has put so much money into the university. It is unfair to Laurier since one of the largest programs on that campus will have to be scrapped or heavily reworked due to a need for both universities to be present. It is unfair to the students, current and future.

As a long term resident of Brantford and alumni of Nipissing University, I was excited to see this University expand to SW Ontario. It has become an integral part of our city and culture. Removing the funding and subsequent programs not only hurts the reputation of NU but also the economy of the City of Brantford. As a taxpayer in the city of Brantford and Alumni of NU, I adamantly disagree with the decision to pull Nipissing University from Brantford.

Nipissing Brantford should be growing and thriving not pulling out of Brantford! The government must continue funding so as to make staying in Brantford economically viable.

Besides the academic value these students have brought a tremendous spirit of community engagement and volunteerism. What a huge asset to Brantford.
