Denying students an outlet for creative writing gives the impression that it is unimportant in society. On the contrary: reading and writing creative fiction and nonfiction helps us come to terms with our humanity. I cannot conceive of a more important learning tool.

As an IUP alum employed in an art museum as a digital media manager it's discouraging to hear that NGAR has been told to relegate its publication to the digital realm. Some work is better suited for print, and as an arts publication that showcases student work, NGAR is one of those publications. If anything, IUP should double their budget so they can simultaneously showcase work in print AND online.

Seeing your work in print is an experience that can change your life. It is a concrete sign that you matter, and you can change the world. As faculty members, We work so hard to achieve what this magazine does for our students. Please don't take this away from them.

This is an important stepping stone for undergraduate artists. Being accepted into a publication and putting it into your resume is a huge help! Please don't let the budgets continue to decrease for the arts!

This is a no-brainer. The benefits of keeping NGAR in print far outweigh the cost of the budget.

If students just wanted their work on the internet, they could just post to facebook. Allow a real publication, in print, for the true talent these students offer.

The students really enjoy this and other magazine for the articles that they print. They should be aloud to have the magazine printed.

My time spent with NGAR was incredibly important to me. University students need a creative outlet like this and exposure to the publishing process. This cannot be denied at any university. IUP must foster its creative writers.

This is absurd. It is the very LAST thing that should be cut.
