I worked there this past Summer. Best summer job I’ve had and I was looking forward to working there again this summer. It is such a great employment opportunity for people my age and a great place for people my age to hang out some where fun and safe.

Such sad news. Why didnt you try to increase admission or membership fees. Places kids can go (that parents trust) and do outdoor physical activities is diminishing. This pool is a place that brings the whole family together and promotes healthy lifestyles. It’s a place for kids to get to play together and have some sense of what we considered normalcy.

I've taught all my children and grandchildren to swim there. It's a great pool for introducing kids to water. Plenty of room for kids and adults. Please keep this pool open.

This is a staple part of Newburgh, and what it means to grow up in this town. The town is already boring enough for growing kids. They need things like this around to keep them active, and to build memories and friendships. It's places like this pool that give kids the motivation to one day decide to stay in this town, and want to raise their own kids here because of what a truly special place Newburgh actually is.

Our family lives close enough to the pool that we can walk over. If Boonville can keep their pool open we should be able to find a way to keep ours open.

Why is it so hard to maintain this pool? It's not like we don't pay enough taxes to keep it open! We've just gained several businesses in Newburgh, how it it possible that there is not enough money to keep Newburgh pool open?
We the people of this town should have had more of a say in this issue! Why didn't we get to vote on this matter?

This is one if not the only place in Newburgh kids and families have to enjoy with out having to go into Evansville! I would love to continue my children's swim lessons there! Maybe they should lower the price for the season pass to the same price for all Newburgh residents no matter if they live in the city or county.

These kids in Newburgh have very little to do during the summer.. they need this pool, something to keep them from doing things they shouldn’t be doing. Everyone loves this place.

PLEASE KEEP THE POOL OPEN! I have been going there since I was a you girl and now I take my daughter there. This is the only pool close to us that is safe to go to. Please reconsider!
