Last bank left in Barnes... I would hope that such a large organisation as NatWest would have a sense of community responsibility. Post office branches are small, Hammersmith Bridge closure will make life more difficult for elderly etc.

I have been using this branch for 40 years. Please do not close our Natwest Bank in Barnes, it is vital to the community especially with the bridge closing for major repairs this year this is the last bank in Barnes

How is one supposed to get more than £200 in cash, or get foreign currency?

How do I bank for the Guides and cash received - I cannot travel to Hammersmith or Putney for voluntary commitments.

My grandfather opened my first bank account for me at this branch in the sixties; It is my point of contact for all my banking. Online just does not cut it yet with banks regularly being hacked and systems failing despite the banks' reassurances - this closure would be a disaster for not only myself but also my parents who are in their nineties. Mobile banking is a stop gap that we know will eventually be cut. This branch needs to remain open.

We have used this bank since 1963 ! It does make such a difference if you can have face to face advice.

Not happy. Always a queue when I go in there so facilities clearly used by customers. Alternatives inconvenient and will create real issues for my 94-year-old mother who goes there weekly. Bad decision with no regard for customers, only shareholders.

Very disappointed. Have been going to this branch for over 50 years and this closure means no bank AT ALL in Barnes. Shame on you for abandoning your customers.

Don’t underestimate the value of face to face contact with your customers especially among older people. If NatWest in Barnes and East Sheen both close, who are you really serving?

NatWest bank is a vital service in Barnes, it will be a great loss to the village to not have a Bank.

As the sole surviving bank in Barnes, this closure would be keenly felt by young and old, whether economically active or retired.

We need NatWest to stay in Barnes to support older people, businesses and everyone.

Not everything can be done on line and not everyone can or want to bank online. All the planned Natwest bank closers should be stopped or reversed...

A wonderful branch where I have been banking for many many years. I am now nearing 90 years of age. Please don't close it, where would I go at my age?

It is essential to have the Barnes branch open because of the density of the population constituted by people of a certain age and young families who would find it very difficult to go a long way away since the Sheen branch is also due for closure.
