For a decade now, I've been raising my 2 older children either alone (as a single working mother) or together with the loving support of my husband, Brian. On the 11th year (2014) my ex husband (who you know as Francis "Franky" A. Mattiuzzo) finally started paying his court-ordered child support (that he has evaded, prior) Clean from drugs for 1 year now, he feels that he should have partial custody and scheduled visits.
We do NOT want this. The children do NOT want this. He has broken up our family before, leaving me pregnant while he chose weed, meth, alcohol and other indulgences instead of his wife and children.
Now, the children are raised to an age that they are self sufficient, and we have moved on and added siblings in the family. We have our own established traditions and our own schedules, and while I have always been open as to who their biological father is, they know Brian Rodgers (their legal stepfather) as "Daddy".
If you are receiving this petition you are a fellow Ukiah resident, relative and/or family friend of ours who have witnessed our close family bond with each other and agree with me in asking the judge to please not tear this family apart YET AGAIN for Frank's selfish behavior. We ask that either the judge uphold the current custody and visitation agreement
*Melissa has SOLE physical and legal custody of both Natalie and Fox.
*Visitation is under her discretion (of dates, time-frames, location, etc) which is usually 4 hours once a month, or when the children want to.
