I know if I were to write "Keep Ms. Camp!" Won't work, so I'm going to say this from the bottom of my heart. I graduated from the RLC 2 years ago, I had her as my math teacher in 8th grade. She was probably one of the first teachers that have made me understand math and the problems that math has carried. She was nominated as Teacher Of The Year in 2012 when I was in the 8th grade class. Every student from the class of 2012 has nominated her because not only was she the best person to talk to, but she was the most outgoing, amazing, smart, lady that I have ever met in my life. She made math easier. She made everything easier. She knew how to keep her students in the right direction. I don't understand how RLC is trying to let her go. After all that she has done for me, for the kids who go there now, and for the kids who graduated a year or 2 ago. I understand that RLC has a new principe, but our last one hired her. Why? Cause she had the skills on being a math teacher, and of course Ms. Camp had made students progress in her class when they were close to failing. She never gave up on her students, and certainly never gave up on me. I was one of those students who almost "failed for the year" in 2012 because I wasn't good at math. The words that she told me "Odalis, you have to work your butt off, and I'm going to help you. I want you to graduate and go to Highschool and make the best future for yourself." And of course she has helped me. Because of her, I graduated RLC with my class. Because of her, she made math easier and became my hero. And if it wasn't for her, I don't know what would've happened. Letting her go won't break my heart, but it'll break the hearts of other students who attend her class 5 days a week. Please reconsider your descision and let her stay and go on with her career of being the most outgoing teacher in the Robert L Craig. Letting her go will be one huge mistake and it will be devastating. So please, let her stay and let her change the live

Ms. Camporeale is one of the most kind, funny, and beautiful math teacher I ever had! I do not want her to leave this school and I say this with all my heart! I love you Ms. Camporeale and I bet everyone else feels the same!

I think most of us can agree that Ms. Camporeale made us actually look forward to her class. I have never in my life wanted to learn more about math. Ms. Camporeale inspired me so much, and I know that she inspired the others too.

We need Ms Camporeale she is an amazing teacher and I don't even know why you would want to fire her without her all of us will lose most of our knowledge of math. Ms. Camporeale teaches us most math teachers don't even teach us without her you are making us students feel pain and misery. Do you people ( The Board Of Ed.) want to fire Ms. Camp and put her in the position that she won't be able to pay for her rent,or she won't be able to put food in her kids mouths? I DONT understand why you want to fire her give Ms.Camporeale ANOTHER CHANCE!!!

Ms. Camp is the future of Moonachie and it's students! This petition is overwhelming proof of her commitment to each and every one of her students. Not only does she inspire the children to learn, but they are excited about coming to class, which does not happen often. Most importantly, standardized math scores have continued to increase since Ms. Camp was hired. Math is one of, if not THE most important school subject. According to the 2013 Gallup poll, "Math is the clear winner when Americans are asked to say which school subject has been most valuable to them in their lives"(http://www.gallup.com/poll/164249/americans-grade-math-valuable-school-subject.aspx).
Think of the lasting impression her class will have on the future of your children as they move on to higher education. Think of the opportunities that can arise from having a clear understanding of math, and being inspired and prepared. DO NOT allow this amazing teacher to slip through Moonachie's fingers! Show your support at the next BOE meeting on Tuesday, sign this petition, speak up to administration, write letters, picket, anything to express your support. #KeepMsCamp
