Mrs. Nelson is a really great teacher and I don't want to have to meet a new teacher after I've already had her for a year!

Mrs. Nelson has made Asl so much fun to learn, honestly when she told me this morning I about started crying because of how much she means to me. I wouldn’t be taking asl 3 and 4 if it wasn’t for her ❤️

She is the one teacher that I can tell any student to go talk to about any problem. She is disciplined, has control of every aspect of her classroom and provided the best ASL education a student could ask for. No other teacher could better teach a class than Mrs. Nelson has. She 100% deserves her job.

As a member of the deaf community I beg you to allow someone who is passionate about spreading the language of ASL to youth and showing many children that deafness does not make someone worthless

She has been the best asl teacher I've ever had. Even though she doesn't always get along with everyone 24/7 me and all of my peers can agree that no matter what if we need help or even just someone to talk to she will be there. She is an amazing support system for us and has opened all of our eyes to the beauty that is deaf culture. If she can't stay at guyer then the school will lose a great and wonderful asset. PLEASE KEEP MRS. NELSON AT GUYER HIGH SCHOOL!

It would be beneficial to the staff of Guyer and the students if the ASL kids actually had a teacher.

Mrs. Nelson is the biggest impact I’ve had at guyer high school. She not only taught me a lot about ASL and the deaf culture, bug also how to work hard and strive to do my best.

I was lucky enough to be her teacher’s aide this year and the kids love learning from her and personally I see such a difference in their passion for signing than I did with the previous ASL teacher. I love Mrs. Nelson, she is my mentor, and she is one of the most influential people in my life.

My girlfriend had Ms. Nelson for 3 years, and then aided for her her senior year. She is an excellent teacher to have around.

Mrs nelson is one of my favorite teachers. She’s amazing and she’s taught me more than just ASL. It’s sad to even have the thought that the new kids who will come into Guyer won’t get the opportunity to have her as a Teacher. Please keep her here.
Keep ms. Nelson at guyer!
