Mrs. E is a treasure, enhancing the lives and education of thousands of kids over the years. The need for her still exists. She’s not done. Cobb County Schools shouldn’t be either. Keep her on!

Mrs. E was an amazing librarian to all 3 of my children. She made reading fun and dressed up for story time and school events. She instilled the importance of reading to every child at Rocky Mount. She helped make Rocky Mount a place where you wanted your kids to be!

I have seen my grandchildren shine in several performances under Mrs. E's direction at Rocky Mount! What Mrs. E does in support of the children and the school is beyond amazing!

She had a huge impact on our family. Many of our fondest Rocky Mount memories involve practices, set building, and of course...the performances. She is the heart of Rocky Mount.

I had Ms. E when I was in kindergarten over 30 years ago!!!! I remember her fondly and how amazingly sweet and caring she was! I am so terribly saddened to hear that CCSD “can’t” find a place for her. Let this sweet lady continue to spread her joy through teaching!

My girls cherish her and are so sad to hear she may not be with Rocky Mount next year. They have both participated in her original plays and love her energy and contributions to the school.

Mrs. E is the rock in Rocky Mount. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow. She helps young children understand empathy. She is extremely creative and formerly helped with the inaugural session of Odessy of the Mind. Both of my daughter's have written essays about Mrs. E. being their hero. She is a treasure with so many gifts to give the students.

Mrs. E is the teacher who made reading and books come alive for students; who made sure no child was overlooked when they tried out for drama club or the morning news cast. She found a spot for every child. She believed in our children when they even had their doubts in themselves. She made them see anything is possible. Rocky Mount will not be the same without her.

Please figure out another way to work allotments out so you can keep Mrs. E. She bring a lot to Rocky Mount beyond her actual job title/role. It's all the other stuff and her loving heart.

School libraries do not need any more budget cuts. The students are the ones who will suffer the loss of such a driving force at Rocky Mount. She has gone above and beyond what a lot of teachers do, without the compensation. It is a slap in the face to not find a position for such a dedicated employee and reflects poorly on the school system. It shows others that hard work and genuine dedication do not make you a valuable employee. Do better.

Having worked with Mrs. E almost 20 years ago, I know how inspirational she is and what a hard worker she is. It’s a shame parapros have no contracts and are at the mercy of allotments each year. I also know that administrators are often able to acquire more allotments or work miracles finding ways to adjust assignments. Please try!
