Both my daughter and son were fortunate to have had Mrs. Carr as their kindergarten teacher. She set the foundation for our children’s successful educational journey throughout Holland Township School and for that we are so blessed and incredibly grateful. My children still recall the fond memories they had in kindergarten with Mrs. Carr. Please allow other children to have the same wonderful experience as her students.

So sad when the educational system loses sight of why someone devotes their life to teaching… the kids! I would love to hear the rationale as to why moving a successful, effective, motivated, dedicated… and most importantly LOVED kindergarten teacher is being considered. This is the perfect case of “just because you can… doesn’t mean you should”. Please reconsider… and consider the kids who need Mrs. Carr as their first exposure to the educational system at Holland Township School.

Mrs Carr was a fantastic teacher to my son and daughter. I strongly support keeping her in the current position she has. She’s excellent at what she does, and to move her to any other position would be a loss to the kindergarten program at Holland.

I was lucky enough to be in Mrs. Carr’s class in her very first year teaching at Holland Township School 18 years ago. She provided a wonderful learning environment that made me feel safe in a new school as a young child. Now having graduated from college, I can easily say that Mrs. Carr was the most influential teacher of my academic journey. Her love for teaching kindergarten made all the difference in my transition to elementary school. Kindergartners would be lost without her!
