Nicole was a born educator. As a friend of 50 years, some of my earliest memories are of Nicole teaching me basic preschool and kindergarten lessons in our neighborhood playing school. Her passion has always been in early education. It is only fitting that she should remain in kindergarten to finish out her esteemed teaching career.

Unfair to her and students as curriculum is vastly different for kindergarten vs 3rd grade.

Nicole Carr is a fabulous teacher! It would be a great detriment to remove her from her kindergarten position and the positive, encouraging, nurturing, solid foundation she has given to students, including my daughter, for nearly 20 years. My daughter is currently a graduate student at Duke University studying to become a physical therapist. Nicole Carr and teachers like her have helped make my daughter’s dream a reality. Please keep Nicole Carr where she belongs in kindergarten.

Nicole is the best. Any child would be so blessed to have her as their first teacher entering Holland School.

I wish schools would stop moving teachers that are passionate and happy where they are. If a teacher is happy and successful let them be and let them continue. No one wants a teacher that’s been forced to teach a grade they aren’t passionate about

Please let her keep her passion for teaching our small humans. The world needs more people like her.

Too many changes at HTS since Mr. Suarez and Dr. Yard retired. Sounds like a change in administration needs to happen! Mrs. Carr belongs in kindergarten. Moving her is an injustice to her years of dedication.

Get real people!!! If she’s good at her job, let her keep doing her job. A seasoned K teacher and a third grade need are not the same! This is more harmful than anything for the students’ success.

Why would you force someone passionate and experienced teaching arguably the hardest grade to a new position? Ludicrous! No wonder there aren’t enough teachers.

Kindergarten is a very important year in a child’s educational development and Mrs Carr has done an exceptional job. Why would you want to change a good thing?

This is why great teachers are leaving the profession in droves.

Teachers deserve our respect, appreciation, and the choice to fulfill their passion by having a choice in their grade assignments!
