I do not feel the school board is acting in the best interest of the students in this decision.

Being off bu only TWO students should not mean students should lose a teacher. Changes to ratio will continue to happen over the course of the school year. Students leave and new students zoned for Gomm will arrive. This is unacceptable!

Keep him- this is not fair for the kids or Mr. V!

This change affects both my 2nd grader and 4th grader. Making this change 6 weeks into the school year is inefficient and is not in the best interest of the children and their education. I am strongly against this change.

This is no way to treat people ... our teachers and kids, at the very least, need some respect from the district — the administration has discretion in this regard — it’s NOT just a black and white numbers decision!

Mr. V has made such an impact with my son Joey in such a short time. This is a huge loss to Roy Gomm. This matter deserves more attention than just tenure on the teacher ranks. Good teachers deserve to be praised and he deserves this attention.

KEEP MR. V AT ROY GOMM! My brother has NEVER been SO motivated to go to school! Mr. V is such a great teacher and a complete Role model! Thekids in Mr. V's class have NEVER been happier to go to School! -Carmella

This decision is not It in the best interest of my Roy Gomm 4th grader or any of the other 91 students affected. Two students below the enrollment mark affecting 92 students is a poor decision indeed. I urge the district to reconsider this decision as it is unbelievably shortsighted and harmful to a great number of families.

Why are they disrupting almost 100 students when the right decision for all parties can easily be made by keeping Mr V.

Mr V is an amazing educator & positive male role model. Our school is beyond devastated to lose him...

This is greatly going to impact so many children in not a healthy or positive way. My son is devastated to be losing his 4th grade teacher this far into the year. Getting these kids back on track will take more then the 6 weeks they have already put in.

Would like to voice my concern that this decision will drastically affect my child’s education this year and will hinder their classes ability to stay on track for important acedemic goals.
