Mr Thompson actually listens to the parents and cares about the kids happiness which is all we want. don't take him away from us now!!

This is an amazing little school under the right leadership I moved my kids due to the inconsistency and negative effects from the wrong leadership so let east parents choose the principal they know what the school needs!!!

Mr Scott Thompson has been such a wonderful Principal and teacher for Gympie East State School and he has organised so many events and the children,staff, parents and Community all know what a shame it would be to lose such a committed and inspirational Principal from the school. Please let him stay on and keep doing all the awesome things so that the Gympie East students don't have to adjust to change with yet another uprooted Principal as its not fair to them!!!

He has shown to be a caring and ideal principal for a school of this size and type. I would be very disappointed to lose him as it is is my grandaughter's school.
