Final supporters
It has come to our attention that Grant Ramsey (School Principal) and Ian Hunt (Primary Principal) may be leaving DBIS at the end of the current School Year. As parents and associates of DBIS students we are extremely concerned that two of the most senior individuals at DBIS responsible for its ongoing stability and success may be leaving in circumstances which remain unclear.
Both Grant and Ian have our full support and we urge the DBIS Advisory Committee and The School Council to take all necessary measures to ensure, at the very least, one of them continues at DBIS and that this matter is handled transparently in the interests of all parties.

The quiet from the school board is becoming difficult to ignore while so many of us wait for answers about the future of our children. My inbox is full of messages from worried families who feel completely left out of this decision process.

Seeing this level of backing for Grant and Ian tells me that our school community understands the value they bring to our children every single day. Their leadership has been the bedrock of this school and I am overwhelmed that so many of you are fighting alongside me to keep them here.

They have done so much for the school since arriving. The kids love them both and we need this stability right now.
The lack of clarity is what bothers me most. We deserve answers about why they are leaving.
Absolute madness to let both of them go at once. Leadership like that is hard to find!
Mr Ramsey and Mr Hunt are the soul of DBIS. Seriously hope the committee listens to us for once.
