I cant believe Annie Wright does this. Mr.McCool is one of the best teachers at AWS. Annie Wright should not be a business, it should be a place for education.

He is the one that made study a passion to me just by his passion of teaching. He is one of the most responsible, knowledgable and respectable teachers I've ever met, and I always thought it was a privilege for AWS to have him as a teacher.

Corey McCool is a dedicated to his work. Even in his position of power the tremendous respect he gives his students is evident in the commitment his students show for him. To not invite Mr. McCool back for the 2017-2018 academic year will be one Annie Wright Upper Schools greatest mistakes. No one shares McCool's idiosyncratic combination of real world experience and utter kindness.

Mr.MrCool was the most friendly and caring history teacher I had in AW and I believe other students inAW deserve a teacher like him

Mr McCool was one of my favorite teachers in high school this is such a callous thing to do.

Based on the feedback, it is clear that he is an asset to Annie Wright and its students so the school should demonstrate that they value teachers like this & continue to offer the best to its Upper School girls and not be so focused on directing funds to the "boys school".

I am shocked by AW's decision to let this beloved member of the faculty go. He is an amazing educator and has demonstrated his commitment and dedication. Shame on the administration for their poor decision making. He has positively changed the lives of so many young women and should be shown dignity and respect.

One of the best teachers I had at Annie Wright. Kind, understanding, and always there to help when we needed it. It would be a huge loss to let him go.

I am a Red Tie, class of '94. I valued and loved my inspiring teachers while I was at Annie Wright. I learned so much from them that I still incorporate some of the advice and lessons they taught now, 23 years later. Mr. McCool sounds like an amazing teacher that has inspired students for years at Annie Wright Schools. I support keeping him on campus. His experience is invaluable, especially as the school is going through some changes with the alleged "Upper Boys School." It is important for stability, and inspiring experience to help mentor and support our Upper School Girls during this transition. Yet, AWS wants to let him go to pay for a lower salaried, less experienced, and possibly less inspiring teacher. Why? Perhaps, holding off on the Upper Boys School will provide you the money to support. McCool and keep him on campus.

Mr McCool was a very thoughtful teacher and adviser and always made me feel very comfortable in class. I found him to be a great teacher and role model.

Mr. McCool is a very caring and patient teacher. He gave me a lot of help during junior year especially in IA writing.

I have a thought. Don't open a boys' school and use those funds to retain quality teachers for the girls.

His salary must be high because he has been compensated for a job well done. I remember having excellent teachers at Annie Wright that changed my life.

Asking a teacher to leave because he's too expensive yet needing to hire new teachers? Hmm. Current students know this teacher is awesome. Listen to them!

Mr. McCool is a fundamental part of Annie Wright. It would be foolish for my beloved alma mater to try to replace him, especially in such changing times.

Current students and recent alumnae have asked for support with keeping Mr. McCool and I absolutely support their efforts! Retaining excellent faculty members is essential to having an excellent school!
