Keep Mr. Decuir as band director at Stockbridge High School

Your doing more harm than good by taking away a fantastic director,mentor, and example who we can relate to as students away from us keep mr.decuir at Stockbridge and over our band/marching band program!!

This man has changed the live of countless students in a positive way. Definitely one of the most motivating and helpful Staff members at that institution, it would be an insult and great loss to the school and community to let him go.

As a alum of Stockbridge high, I have seen the old band transform to the new band. Mr. Decuir changed the tradition. He took the old and transformed it to something that EVERYONE likes. As a cheerleader Alum, I LOVED dancing to the versatile music. The change brought me more school spirit and it was actually fun. The band now is the reason I come and visit at games. If Mr. Decuir goes stockbridge will go down the drain. Do not settle to be like the county bands, Stand out and be Stockbridge.

Entering band as a freshman and being in the band now It has made me realize that there are places you fit and before I thought oh it's just marching band.....but no we are a family now and all of our thanks is to Mr. Decuir. We have gotten so much better and it's not only unfair to the past band members but to the future band members who were counting on the experience we got to have. We may not what happened for him to get into this situation but we do know that we want him as our band director for the upcoming years.

As an educator I understand the impact we can make on children. It is clear and evident that Mr. Decuir has made a positive impact on these students'. Please keep Mr. Decuir.

He has been great for the children in the band. The band has as tripled in size since he as taken over. In essence this is a step backwards, come on Stockbridge high school reconsider

I cried when I found out that the man who changed my life and others has been let go. It would be a major set back to stockbridge if they let him go . Honestly things will not be the same with him. Plea
