I saw such an improvement in the ban since Mr. Decuir's arrival. The students seemed to be more excited and full of pride with their accomplishments under Mr. Decuir's direction.

Though I am not a band member at high school I do attend Stockbridge high school, and I feel as if taking Mr. Decuir away from Stockbridge high would be a great dismay to the community of Stockbridge. I have had family members in the past who Attended Stockbridge high and I can say from what I saw and heard from then to now Mr. Decuir has had a big impact on the Stockbridge band. Band members do not complain about him nor his teaching. In my eyes Mr. Decuir is great asset to his students and others taking away would be a terrible discsion on the admenistrations part.

Mr.D was not only the greatest band director Stockbridge has ever encountered, he was a blessing to the program. And we are deeply hurt about the announcement of him not being offered a new contract for the upcoming school year. We NEED Mr.Decuir here. Please everyone, help us out.

Although I am not a member of the SHS band, I have heard nothing but ravishing appeals of Mr. Decuir. My fellow peers in the band find him not only as a teach, but as a mentor and positive influence. The band have progressed leaps and bounds umder Mr.Decuir's direction, and I think that it would behoove SHS and our ooutstanding band family to keep him.

He's one of the best teachers I've ever known , it would be ashamed if you let a good man go that turned the school around . just imagine there being another replacement for him , it would not be the same anymore . why let go of someone that a lot of people Care and love for ? what would you do if I took away someone you love ? wouldnt like it huh ? Yeah I thought so !

Mr. Decuir has made a huge impact in my children's lives. He is much more than a band teacher. He is a role model. This man genuinely cares about his students. He works hard to prepare his students for life after high school, even providing them with information and opportunities in higher education. I believe it would be a huge mistake to remove a teacher of Mr. Decuir's quality from the Stockbridge High School band program. The students must settle for enough mediocrity at Stockbridge High, They shouldn't have to lose one of the few people in the school who provide the inspiration and encouragement they need to face yet another day here.
