Most of the signatures on here have nothing to do directly with the school. Or the church. Why don't you focus your efforts on helping school parents find a new school for their children rather than continuing to stir up emotions? And, Steve, I hope you have cleaned up that filthy language on your Facebook page. It should embarrass you and your family.

Closing MCS was a very difficult decision made by a group of men that I trust. I know that if there was a way to keep the school going they would have found it. Not one of them wanted to do this. I believe the pastor at the church made it very clear that the decision could not be reversed. I know this is extremely difficult for a lot of people but according to the pastor the enrollment has dropped by 100 students over the past few years.

Hoping that the combined collaborations of the parents and members of the school (parents, teachers, administrators) can pull together to do what is in the best interest of the children. Keep the school open!

We are members of MCC and our son attends MCS. We have only been at MCS for a few months, but we are heartbroken by the unexpected decision to close the school. When we first visited MCS, we knew immediately that it was special. We had envisioned a future where both our sons would attend the school, surrounded by teachers, staff and volunteers that loved them, and were committed to giving them the best education possible, while helping us raise them to follow Jesus and be good disciples. I've shed a lot of tears, for our family and for everyone involved. I do think that the school is an important mission, and if there was some way to keep it open, that would be amazing.
