For years we have listened to the powers at be, regarding the less than good ratings when it came to math and science scores, then it was low ratings in reading and history, I'm sorry but truly if you were to ask random junior high school student, When did the war of 1812 occur, I would put my money on , I don't know when was it? Sad but realistic, we've swept those issues under the carpet ans chose a superficial issue to put on the table. The youth today are more interested in the latest iPhone, the 110.00 jeans, a lack of respect for anyone in an authoritative position, the choice, I don't like high school, so we provide an alternative school. Who is really running the show. The kids or the adults? My guess the kids! In all honesty it's my perception the teachers are at the mercy of the students, Kuotos to the teacher who are willing to walk into a class with a bunch of self entitled, disrespectful, rude kids who'd just as soon tell you where to get off as to look at you!

Leave it alone!!! Do you really have nothing better to do and spend our money on then frivolous garbage like this?? I went there and my daughter went there, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Morgan Middle School, Tigers and orange and black!!!

Morgan Tigers always. A name change simply costs the district more $$$. This project has been delayed, and debated long enough.

I think I am the last recipient of THE MILLS AWARD. If your going to clean out your trophy case I would love to have the trophy:-)
I was a MJHS cheerleader for the orange and black tigers. Please don't change the name, mascot or school colors. Lots of great history there.
