Definitely an excellent use of my tax money. If it is not in the budget, find someone to sponsor it!

We live in Montclair about halfway between Forest Ave in Glen Ridge and Montclair Ave in Montclair. While we adore this local Montclair Halloween tradition, we do worry about safety given the hordes of kids and little or no supervision of the traffic on the street -- and because we also head to Forest Ave., we see the difference in safety when the street is shut down. This is an easy-win quality of life issue: seems a no brainer for the town to make this happen given the generosity of the families on Montclair Ave that make Halloween there so special.

Montclair Ave is just too crowded on Halloween to have cars on it. Keep it safe for the kids!

I support closing Montclair Avenue for Halloween for the safety of kids and adults.

Montclair will be wise to act on this for everyone's safety. Darkness, hoards of kids in costumes, and cars do not mix. As a Montclair Ave resident, we welcome around 1,000 young visitors to our door. This yearly event needs safety precautions like any other large community happening.... and on Halloween, Montclair Ave is HAPPENING!
