Mitzi Lizarraga has helped shape the artist and student I am today. I am constantly making sure that I am focused at the task at hand and making sure that I accomplish each goal that I have set and create new ones to accomplish after. This is because of her, I also strongly believe that I wouldn't have graduated High School without her and was deeply saddened that she wasn't the one to present my diploma to me as opposed to someone who constantly displayed a lack of honesty and professionalism while I was a student there at SDSCPA. She is a wonderful principle and mentor whom is completely undeserving of dismissal.

Without Mitzi Lizarraga's dedication as a principal and an artist, our school would be nowhere. SDSCPA has earned it's name thanks to her outstanding leadership and guidance.

San Diego needs to continue to support SD SCPA, which is a treasure. It prepares creative kids for a life in the arts -- or a life in another field fueled by the creative expression fostered there.

Mitzi as Principal of SCPA has inspired my children immensely. There’s no issue that can’t be resolved especially when you have such a positive influence on our children as Mitzi has been. Mitzi IS special losing her would be absolutely wrong.

We are parents of a child who we choices into SCPA because of the principal and the current administration. Moving a principal who was working well at a school does not make sense.

2011 kids were smoking weed with security guard, bathrooms always smelled like weed and cigarettes. Girls walked around with booty shorts. Gates were wide open for students to ditch whenever they felt like it. Lizarraga was principal at the time and I NEVER saw change in my 4 years.

I'm very picky when it comes to many things. My taste in music, girls, friends, and especially educators. Mitzi Lizarraga has helped shaped my life and has been an integral part of my happiness as a student. All I ever received and witnessed from her was love and pride. She is the reason why I got the grades I got and am leading such a successful career in school so far. Letting her go is like taking away the wheels on a bike. The shape the wheels made is still there, but nothing is moving forward. Don't let SCPA sink.

Mrs. Lizarraga has done nothing but make SCPA a great, fun, and student friendly learning environment. SCPA has a great reputation inside and out because she ran the school. She should remain principal.
