It has been a pleasure working with Candes since being back from maternity leave in the classroom and being her co teacher. I have learned so much from her. I see the children love her and so do the parents. I know the upcoming preschoolers that I had in twos will love having her as their teacher when they move up. I’m praying I get to continue to work with her. Please do whatever that is possible to keep Miss Candes around. Kind regards Mrs. Morgan

My granddaughter connected with Candes immediately. She was her teacher for a bit before all of the transitions started. My granddaughter and all of her precious friends deserve the most stable environment within your control. Miss Candes staying is within your control. Please do the right thing.

This is my friend's son's teacher, and he absolutely loves her as I've heard all the kids and parents do. Please let her stay!

Candes is a rock for my daughter! Far and away her favorite teacher. In a period when turnover is already high and creating dysfunction why are you adding to the problem?!

As Executive Director for senior living I understand today struggle with staff turnover. However this is an associate that followed protocol and disclosed relationship to other associate. This was accommodated and accepted upon hire. I'd be cautious in moving foward with dismissal or forced transfer. I respectfuly request you stand behind your intial decisiin to allow. Seems like some internal retaliation towns here. Your facility is borderline with state inspection and violations. You need her experience for the weel being of over one. Keep it simple and allow her to continue the wonderful work she does daily for our children!!!!

Please keep Miss Candes! She is such a vital asset to my child’s happiness at this preschool. She was instrumental in making the hard transition to preschool for Connor so much easier. Her care, passion, and professionalism are top notch. Without her, it is likely Connor would not feel settled and may force us to look for a new preschool. Thank you for your consideration in keeping Candes at this location as she is such an asset to this community. Sincerely, Erin Hopkins

If you want diversity and you believe in it, you keep her. She is strict but kind. My child is always seeing things at stores or making art projects at our house and says oh I want her to have this. She works very well with the children and is our absolute favorite. Do Not let her go anywhere else. She balances the other teachers perfectly. Without her I am 100% my kids would behave differently, and not for the better.

Rory loved his time with Ms. Candes. She is a wonderful teacher and our kids are better because of her thoughtful attention.

Miss Candes is one of many quality teachers at CNI and it is not right that she be forced to transfer to another school due to a family members promotion, a promotion that only occurred because so much turnover in our schools administration has been happening within the past year. Frankly, I think that it is unfair that an individuals career and current job be student, and her relationship with her students be casually disregarded just because a family member has been or will be promoted. If that was an issue that cooperate did not want to encounter then they should not have even allowed related individuals to hold positions at the same centers. There should be a way to allow for approval in such a unique situation so that our children are not negatively effected! Specially since the individuals have been working at the same school for years without issue. There has never been any incidence of a conflict of interest, and I am sure there would be none. She is one of few teachers who has earned the respect of my child, in part because she has been a constant amidst so much turnover in the staff of our center. I appreciate her dedication to the well being of her students as well as her demeanor and openness with parents about problems or issues in the classroom and ways to solve them. She is beloved by not only the students in her 4 year old class, but by many other children. Many organizations have the ability to allow for approval to situations such as these (I am employee with the state of VA and we have a husband and wife supervisory situation at one of our facilities) and without an actual incidence of occurrence of bias I demand Miss Candes be allowed to make her own decision and not be forced.

My daughter has dealt with behavioral issues over the past month due in large part to the immense teacher turnover in her classroom. She is in 3s and we’ve been so looking forward to getting her to KPA with Candes where she will finally have stability with a teacher who really connects with her. Please don’t take that from my daughter.
