Keep minors safe and out of kink and keep adults in kink safe from legal repercussions because of minors doing things they shouldn't.

I think that it's somewhat disturbing how little Tumblr seems to care about the invasion of 18+ spaces by minors and the fact that these minors are endangering their own lives by participating in kink illegally and sometime's even creating and distributing their own pornography. Age verification would be especially important for NSFW and kink blogs to protect viewers from potentially engaging a minor without their knowledge, and better blocking will protect these blogs from minors trying to invade the age restricted spaces.

Just trying to keep kids and kinksters safe seperately.

This should totally be a thing! Kids shouldn't be allowed to be subjected to content we don't want them to see.

Anyone can set their age as 18 to bypass this rule. I do it all the time!

This is a necessity.

Keep children safe. Keep adult material for adults only. Keep adult sites safe for adults to interact freely without worry or concern of children involving themselves in adult matters. Keep it safe, sane, and consensual amongst adults only.

This is long over due. You need to keep minors safe.

Seriously, this shouldn't even be a thing and yet here we are trying to petition against it. This should've been the default plan, to keep minors out of kink.
