Keep minors out of kinky communities and NSFW blogs on Tumblr!

I'm tired of seeing 14/15 year old little nasties

YES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I post things that children should not be allowed to see!

I LOVE THIS! I love my kink but I don't DO NOT EVER want to share it with children or pedophiles!

This is so needed, please help ensure the safety of minors and adults using tumblr!!!

Frankly, nothing will be truly efficient. However, this WILL cut down on a LOT of blogs that have already been made - and if Tumblr markets it right and doesn't state WHY people need to input their birthdays beyond making sure they're 13, kids won't immediately think they need to make it 18+. It's not going to work COMPLETELY, but it will work enough that people might be able to get a handle on it. And, well-- if someone's caught lying about their age, an IP ban until they're of-age should be enough.

I do agree with this, but I see one flaw. Children will just input a fake birthday/age to get around it. Children already do so with several other websites, what is stopping them from doing it anywhere else? I mean I do agree with this petition, but we need a way to plug up the loophole for this to truly be efficient.

That isn't how laws work in relation to websites. Age of majority is how websites have to run, and some states, that's 18-- and others, it's 21. There's no younger age to go than 18. It doesn't matter what a state's law is.

I think we should go by state cause is a state law and not federal so maybe have a way for the person to put in what state they are from?

Keep kids out of kink! Stop allowing them to post underage content and participate in these communities. It is not safe or legal.

Please keep NSFW flagged blogs away from minors! They should not be able to see their content whatsoever!

I want to keep minors safe from viewing any NSFW content I post, as well as keep myself safe from the consequences of posting what I want to my own personal blog. Making sure minors CAN'T see my blog is an extremely definitive solution.

Keep minors off of adult content sites! Yes, even Tumblr blogs are considered adult content sites!
