Pregnancy, birthing and lactation are inherently female qualities determined by sex, not gender identity. In some cases trans ‘men’ and non-binary people get pregnant and give birth because they are female, not because they are men and not because they are sexless.

The current culture of fear being advanced by the Left is a very scary prospect. I’ve been a lifelong leftist woman, always in support of LGB rights, but I won’t stand for white people manipulating the public debate to pretend to be the most oppressed of them all. 3 women per week are murdered in the UK, 15 women per DAY are murdered in Brazil, and child abuse, displacement, misery are all real life-threatening issues that most don’t care about. Now all of a sudden people decided that they need to conform to the opposite sex’s stereotypes and we have to believe that they are the most oppressed of them all, super fragile and will kill themselves if they don’t get to compel our language? Why are we pretending that they need anything other than therapy? Men can’t have kids, and women who decided to try to escape womanhood don’t get to dictate female language that is unifying and solidifying of our condition as the oppressed sex. MILLI Hill has done incredibly important work and cancelling her is to commit an act of violence and tell women worldwide that shut up, conform or else - which we all already deal with.

Milli Hill is not anti anyone, she is pro-women. Midwifery should remain woman-centred.

Milli Hill is a dedicated and compassionate advocate for pregnant women who works tirelessly to make birth safer for babies and their mothers, including those who do not identify as female. Biology matters, especially in midwifery.

It is important that gender critical women are not silenced by no platforming.. especially in this field where science supports the notion that only a woman’s body can give birth

Very important to keep Milli Hill as keynote speaker, she is a very respected author and midwife & the hate campaign levelled against her should be condemned.
