Keep Milli Hill as Keynote Speaker at Midwifery Conference

Milli Hill is a wise and considerate women who centers the physiological needs of women and girls in her work. This is much needed and appreciated. Her work opened my eyes to the way maternity care is delivered with the health care provider in mind not the female body, others need to hear this. Let her speak.

Stop erasure of women.

I just can't believe it needs stating that erasing women from childbirthing is a heonous act of misogyny. If a midwife is aiding a transman or non-binary person in childbirth, of course we want that person supported and that doesnt require any hate thrown at women. Women give birth. Women beeastfeed. Women matter. The fact some people identify as men pr non binary doesn't change that over 99% are women and we want to be called women. We don't want to be called misogynist, dehumanizing terms like uterus-owner, birthing parent, birther, bleeder, menstruator, chest-feeder. These are utterly disgraceful and disrespectful. They cruelly objectify women as nothing more than a walking reproductive system.

I can’t decide which is more shameful- this hate campaign against a woman who has supported women giving birth for so many years , or the institutions who have or are considering deplatforming her because of this campaign. Organisations that shun Milly Hill are no friend of women and should just admit it.

Milli Hill is committed to the women she works with and many women agree with her views. She should be heard and not de-plarformed. Those who disagree with her should debate with her, and not try to silence her.

Knowing what a woman is, shouldn’t be punished.

The attempt to erase biological sex in matters of birth of all things, and to punish those who deal with it rationally, is obscene. Cancelling those who merely speak about biological reality should not be part of any free-speech centered, democratic society.

No platforming simply confirms that those that try it are already aware they're losing the argument.

A difference of opinion should NEVER mean the right to cancel the opinion you dont like. Cancel culture has gone too far now

This woman is a compassionate and sensible expert. Her voice and knowledge are very much needed. If you crumble before the bullying mob, what use are you to women?

Biologial women must not be silenced

Biological reality and language is central to effective and patient centred maternity care for mother and baby. Anything else is ideological and does not belong in healthcare

Facts are not harmful. It is lies that destroy the fabric of relationship and society. Hold on to truth. Women need our language.
