As a mother of two I know that I would like to hear this woman's view of midwifery.

Being woman-centred in the area of birth is appropriate, fair, and expected by 99.99993% of mothers (the other .00007% are trans females) more or less. We know what the attack on Milli Hill is about. They do want to erase our sex class from equality law; they do jump on any woman who asserts the sensible, reasonable and necessary boundary around sex and use sex-based language rather than gender woo for clarity of understanding by all. Sex-based language reflects reality. It may not be the reality that the tiny but loud segment of the trans lobby wants to acknowledge, but it is the truth nonetheless that ONLY WOMEN birth, and trans-identified males can not are not and never can be women. All the ranting about transphobia being the hate crime du'jour is by design a distraction from the age old practice of misogyny. These people have just found a new way to do it under the cover of deniable plausibility while projecting the bullying on to women and anyone who speaks up for us. I find it disgusting, and a tactic that shows they don't actually have an evidence-based leg to stand on. They know humans can't change sex, so all they've got is to mess with language, semantics and crying bigot. For the love of sanity, let a woman speak about women's concerns without the unnecessary antagonists trying to tear it down.

Women should be able to speak the truth about biological reality without being accused of transphobia.

This attempt to bully and intimidate a woman who states that biological sex matters in regards to childbirth safety is horrendous and tantamount to a witch hunt. Especially given that her opinions would be shared by the majority of sane thinking people.

Giving birth and suckling a child are done by women, using women's biological body parts and women's biochemistry. Please use the correct language to reflect this and don't interfere with the expertise of any midwife who has the intelligence to talks about these facts. Midwives who believe otherwise and insist on imposing their delusion on colleagues and patients should be regarded as indulging in malpractice and subject to disciplinary procedure.
