This is bullying and if the arguments FOR something hold water, you have no need to silence your critics, do you?

The attacks on Ms Hill are defamatory & baseless. Ms Hill has been & remains a champion for women, & her work & views could only be construed as "transphobic" if contemporary trans activism is rooted in misogyny - disregard for & hatred of the female sex class.

Speaking up for womens sex-based rights is not a form of hate speech, nor is it "transphobic".

Milli should not be deplatformed. She has a wonderful breadth of knowledge to enrich knowledge around women’s health. Her political views (which are not offensive to a large majority of women around the globe) should not influence her ability to present her knowledge at your event. It is offensive to women that she would be removed for her commonly understood ideas about women’s biology. Thank-you, Carrie

Women are xx and give birth. Just because some do not want to identify as women, doesn't mean we can't talk about women's issues. There are a huge number of us who are interested in what Milli Hill has to say. She has been inspiring many women for years about birthing with a positive mindset. I don't understand why anyone would want to stop that conversation. Midwives work takes us into the realms of a wide variety of belief systems and identities; we work with everyone with love and respect, no matter their persuasion. Let's celebrate democracy and diversity and for those of us who want to, embrace & relish our biological reality. Let's be kind & generous hearted to each other. Let's recognise that there are issues that women want to talk about and explore, just as there are issues that men want to talk about and explore. There are also issues that those people who do not identify as either male or female want to talk about and explore. Let's make all voices welcome. That's all OK.

Milli Hill has made an invaluable contribution to improving the rights of pregnant women and mothers. To silence her, because a tiny minority of extremists have taken against her, is giving in to bullying.

Milli Hill is an experienced midwife and advocate for women, pregnancy, birthing and lactation are inherently female qualities determined by sex. I stand with Milli Hill and all adult females and girls.

If midwives can respect Jehovahs Witness women's beliefs about blood transfusions I'm sure they're capable of supporting the LGBT community too. Women's experiences, language and biological reality doesn't have to be erased.

It is a measure of the bankruptcy of the spirit of Enlightenment liberalism, that is the basis of any vibrant democratic society, that a petition like this one has become necessary to protect the right to be heard.

The science denial has to stop. 101 genders do not give birth, women do.
